Front loop only crochet you crochet in the loop closest to you (as when you're looking at it, it's in front of the other loop). Back loop only would then be the loop farthest from you, 'cause it's behind the other loop. This was extremely confusing for me for a very long time, cause I thought that front stayed the same even when I turned the piece, but it doesn't. The FLO an BLO is relative, but FLO will *always* be the loop closest and BLO will always be the farthest away. (long winded, I know, sorry!)
