Oh god I am so sorry for vanishing for ~three months. If you are at all curious as to why my brain makes me do this, check this out, though I don't advise reading while you are eating, drinking, have a cough, or anything else that would be bad to do while laughing. Pay special attention to the guilt spiral part, because that is a huge part of my problem.

What little productivity I've managed the past few months has mostly been in finally setting up an Etsy account, which I will link here as soon as I figure out how to do so, and making things for said Etsy account.

I'll finally be getting to all late comments in the next twenty-four hours, and will hopefully finally post another pattern or two. Thank you so much for your patience, and sorry again about the wait.

Low rent copy cats

People are copying your pattern, changing one tiny detail or nothing at all and charging anywhere from $25-90 dollars or more for the ponies. They are horrid looking. I started crocheting because it's a lot cheaper to make toys than buy them for 5 children. Then when our income reduced I started thinking maybe if I got good at crocheting I could help out my family selling my projects. But I would never sell someone else's work as my own. It's one thing to make them to be your 2 yr olds new bff, but selling these(poorly made things) is just plain wrong. I'm so sorry that your hard work and beautiful creations are being stolen like this.
Also someone had asked how to do Pinkie Pie's hair, I did my daughters by sculpting together a bunch of spirals ( chains of 15-40, then going back through and 3 sc in each, and it natural curls. Then I attached them to the pony and tied them or weave them together to create the volume of her mane. I also did some highlights with a lighter color through every 5th curl.) Hope this helps. *sigh* Well, I can't say I'm not disappointed that no one's giving me donations, but since I did offer the pattern for free and not add any conditions on selling them, I guess there's not much room for me to complain. I'll just have to make them better than anyone else on the market, so people will have to buy them from me instead ;)
