Pony Picture Gallery

I'm going to stick all of my My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic pictures here for easier access, especially since I get the feeling I'll be adding to this. Newest at the top, oldest at the bottom.
This post is IMAGE HEAVY, so keep that in mind if you've got a slow connection. You might be happier with the MLP:FIM tag at my regular gallery.
As always, the pony pattern is over here, and a bunch of how-to-crochet tutorials and such can be found over here. Thank you very much for your time!

Rainbow Dash. My crocheted pony lineup is now 20% cooler ;) Yes, I went there.

Rarity. Her hair was a pain in the butt to make, I will not deny it. Sadly, it's also not "perfect". I'm sorry for failing you, Rarity! I'll do better in the future!

Good ol' Fluttershy, my first crocheted pony :) I seriously need to re-do her mane.

Rainbow Dash, Rarity, and Fluttershy. Because Rainbow Dash is going overseas reasonably soon, and I wasn't sure when or if I'd be able to get another group shot in. So why not?

Dr. Whooves (or Dr. Whoof, if you prefer). He was fairly straightforward to crochet and put together. I was originally hoping to have him finished (and thus be able to hock him) for AnimeIowa, but that didn't happen. He's finished now, though! Now I just need to slap his picture/s up somewhere I can potentially sell him...
FFVII Ponies: The following pieces are largely based on this amazing piece of fanart.I've not been able to get in contact with the artist, so if you know them (or are them!), please point them here and let them know I'd like to talk to them about my having crocheted stuff based on their work? Contact made, and a million thanks to
SolidPersona for pointing them to me!

Vincent!Pony, decked out in all of his glorious accessories :Dbb
Pictures of Vincent and his accessories separate can now be found here, to save bandwidth and loading time.

Standard PegaCid. I feel somewhat ethically weird about actually having made him a cigarette, as standard US anti-drug propaganda was pounded pretty thoroughly into my head at a young age, but it's accurate to the character so I went with it.

Cloud pony! Oh man, his hair was a pain and a half. I ended up using both plain white glue (my standard 'hair spray') and, in the end, semi-tying it to his ears to help that spike stay up. I shoulda just gone with hot glue, but I guess it's a live-and-learn situation :/
The color combination turned out a lot better than I thought it would. Dunno why I doubted it; maybe it's just from having grown up with a red-green colorblind sibling. Kinda makes putting purple and blue together an automatic no-no for most situations.

Clothed Sephy-kins! I went with very slightly different colors of yarn for his coat and mane/tail, because it made my teeth itch to think of them being the exact same color. I also think his mane and tail ended up a little long even for him, but whatever, they look fine.

This one cracks me up for no good reason. Who thought Cloud could be so well balanced without his rear legs? Must be a center of gravity thing.

Three characters is also enough for a party! Time to go adventuring :Db

Shippy bonus ;) I tried to stick Cid's cigarette in Vincent's mouth for more implied kissing, but the stitches weren't cooperating and I was low on time. Maybe next time...
A NOTE ON ACCESSORIES: Due to the level of difficulty involved in attempting to explain how I made the various accessories work, I have no plans to share the patterns publicly, especially for free. I have other patterns I've been meaning to type up, not only for
hooked_on_anime but also to sell at my Etsy account, and writing out exactly how I made various accessories takes a level of time and energy I'm not currently willing to commit. If you're still desperately interested in how I made one or two accessories, you can PM me and I may share it with you there. Otherwise, I encourage you to experiment on your own.
