Dobby's pattern, at long last! Plus I've got his pictures hosted at Flickr, so the Photobucket bandwidth limit won't get in the way there ^^a

Here's Dobby not-quite-finished (also naked); hopefully it'll give you a better idea of how the pieces fit together.

Finished Dobby in his smock.
You can catch him in full dress here and here, though I didn't include the patterns for his hat, scarf, or socks. Sorry! For his hat you can just do rounds 1 through 6 of his head in a different color. The scarf is just alternating rows of 5 dc. The socks I didn't even think to record the pattern for, but any baby sock pattern should work fine.
What you need to know for this pattern: US stitch names; crocheting in the round (spiral); chain stitch (ch); single crochet (sc); double crochet (dc); increasing ([stitch] 2 in 1); decreasing ([stitch] 2 tog); slip stitch (sl st).
Sizing information: I used a size H/5.0mm hook and worsted weight yarn for a gauge of 4 dc/inch (2.5 cm).
