Seriously, though: With Covid-19 going on over the past year, public aquariums have had to close their doors for the safety of their patrons, their staff, and even some of their charges and/or exhibits. While many have opened their doors again, at least in a limited capacity, some still remain closed, and I predict that number will only go back up with cases on the rise again.
If you’re in the US and you want to donate as locally as possible, I’m sure thatnoaasanctuaries can help you figure out which facility is closest to you! And if you’re outside the US, I’m reasonably sure they can still help point you to someone who can help 😉
